Heritage rooms, quietly modern.
The original 1926 salon proportions, restored — herringbone oak, tall shuttered windows and a canopied bed — with every comfort of the present hidden from view.
When the hotel was born, this was the suite of the founding family. Its restoration kept the herringbone floors, the plaster cornices and the shutters, while burying the machinery of modern comfort entirely out of sight. To stay here is to stay in the hotel's own memory.
